One inch diamond honed fully lined oversized slate is standard on all Bassford tables. Our slate is selected from the finest quarries located around the world. Our owners personally inspect and certify each processor used to produce the finest billiard slate in the industry.

Quadra-Lok Rail System
The fastest, most accurate cushions cannot perform properly if they are not securely fastened to the Bassford certified slate. Our rail system utilizes eighteen high quality machined steel quadra-lok fasteners built into the rails. The rail system is attached to the playing surface by eighteen heavy duty steel 3/8" machined bolts. Many companies cut corners by using lag screws, hanger bolts or a cheaper 1/4" or 5/16" inch bolt, we feel performance is to important to compromise.
